True, people hardly ever think of changing the BIOS.  But at least, if 
somebody complains about the spurious wakeups, then you can tell them 
"Update your BIOS, fool!"  :-)

Seriously, if a BIOS fix will be available soon, how much good will it 
do to release a workaround in the driver at about the same time?
