pl2303 driver and the supported prolific chips

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi Greg,

the pl2303 driver currently knows 3 different chip types: "type_0",
"type_1" and "HX".
What do we know about "type_0" and "type_1" ? Do we know any "real" chip
names ?
The "HX" type correlates to the PL2303X and HX, but likely also covers
some of the newer prolific chips (TA, TB, HXD, RA, SA, EA, ...).
Do we have any confirmation/feedback from users that one of these new
chip variants is working with the driver ?

Regards,
Frank Schäfer
