unfortunately it doesn't apply :-( and it's past the time for me to
close my tree :-(

I'm very sorry but we will need to wait until v3.11. Also, we need to
come up with a way for maintaining e.g. 'modprobe g_zero' working. I
guess you had proposed a temporary adapter module and that would be
really good to have.
