That's odd.  Can you recompile the xHCI driver with
CONFIG_USB_XHCI_HCD_DEBUGGING and CONFIG_USB_DEBUG turned on, and send
me dmesg, starting from just before you plug in your device and start a
video stream.  Please capture trying to use both the non-working
endpoint setting, and the working setting.
