We can see device re-numeration, ie when firmware got completely uploaded
to the FX2LP and it restarts with final descriptors.
As I expected from the presence of both errors the device is still
unusable with xhci, but bInterval warnings are gone.

Should I test any device to validate the patch further ? I have several
USB2 devices and a single USB3 HDD, but never paid attention at their
bInterval.

This was tested on (otherwise clean) kernel.org 3.6.10 .
