Right.
The system successfully enters S3 (machine switches off = fan stops,
light off etc.) but it resumes immediately.
No errors in the log, it looks like this:

A while ago I did some tests, and I got no errors whatsoever, not even
with PM_DEBUG. System is successfully suspended but immediately awaken.
