Hello,

for my device AT91SAM9263 device I use the USB serial gadget driver to communicate over a serial channel. For windows I used the linux-cdc-acm.inf file given in Documentation <http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git;a=tree;f=Documentation;hb=0e51793e162ca432fc5f04178cf82b80a92c2659>/usb <http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git;a=tree;f=Documentation/usb;hb=0e51793e162ca432fc5f04178cf82b80a92c2659> . The device itsellf is working but we recently found out that our device has troubles with a preinstalled driver by Acer. The Acer driver includes parts for a gadget serial driver but does not work with our device on thoses notebooks.
But I could not find the device in the device manager.
Using the inf file of the Acer driver on my on Windows PC works with my device but not on the notebook.
Any advice why this might happen?

Regards
