You included so much detail in your message that I have lost track of
the point.  Weren't you asking the reason why the keyboard or trackpad
got disconnected?  I explained that the hub did this, i.e., it disabled
the keyboard's port, for unknown reasons.  (That thing about "EMI" in 
the log message is just a guess; there's no way to know why the hub 
behaved the way it did.  Have you tried using a different hub?)

As far as I can see, the hub is still behaving the same way.  So what 
is your question?
