Does this patch fix the problem for you?

Thanks, this helps us much with our current problem - now no oops are
present.
Okay, I'll submit the patch.

But now we did our tests longer and we found that if we additionally
plug USB-Ethernet bridge it starts to do strange things after 1000
cycles of plugging/unplugging on our mips platform.
What do you mean by "strange things"?

If we are plugging USB stick only it works as usual.

Did you have familiar behavior of your hardware or do you know something
about?
No, I don't know anything about it.

Hi Alan,

About "strange things" - for example, I had the following log after stressful testing:

[24325.674000] usb 1-1: new high speed USB device using ehci-brcm and address 44
[24340.814000] usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -145
[24356.001000] hub 1-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 1

And USB hub don't want to power up it's ports anymore.
Of course, this could be because of my hardware, but I am not sure.

Thanks,
Illia Zaitsev, ADB engineer
