Never mind, the patchset got corrupted by Outlook, once I fixed that
it applied OK.

The ring expansion seems to work OK, and I'm not seeing the panic
on test 10 anymore. Test 10 sometimes hangs, but that happens even
without these patches.

So you can add my "Tested-by" if you like.
