This device is partially supported by sigrok (see sigrok.org), and
I've been working to finish sigrok's userspace driver. On the kernel
side, this patch is all it takes.

It's not lost, it just missed my merge window.  I'll pick it up and get
it to Linus after 3.3-rc1 is out, and have it backported to the stable
kernel releases as well.
