Kernel panic in cdc_acm / acm_tty_hangup / tty_port_hangup

Hi there,

over the last months I have been experiencing kernel panics from time
to time on suspend / resume of my Lenovo T420s laptop. Reading the
backtrace it seems that my wireless modem is involved. As the machine
locks up completely, I have to manually copy the backtrace, so please
excuse any possible typos:

  ...
  page_fault
  ? __ticket_spin_lock
  default_spin_lock_flags
  _raw_spin_lock_irqsave
  tty_port_hangup
  acm_tty_hangup [cdc_acm]
  __tty_hangup
  ? __tty_hangup
  do_tty_hangup
  process_one_work
  worker_thread
  ...

The WWAN modem in question is a Lenovo-branded Ericsson F5521gw HSDPA
modem. lsusb output is available at:

$ uname -a
Linux orion 3.1.0-030100-generic #201110241006 SMP Mon Oct 24 14:07:10

Not sure if this is related to:

Thanks for your help!

Regards,
