Since the problem appears when threaded IRQs are enabled and disappears
when they are disabled, it seems likely that threaded IRQs are
involved.

I don't know of any better list for this than LKML.  You might want to 
CC: Thomas Gleixner, since he has been heavily involved in working on 
threaded IRQs.
