Hi Felipe,

Just for fun, I tried this out with the NEC/Renesas host controller.

When I do "sudo modprobe xhci-hcd", I get:

FATAL: Error inserting xhci_pci
(/lib/modules/3.0.0-rc3+/kernel/drivers/usb/host/xhci-pci.ko): Unknown symbol in
module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

And dmesg shows:

[ 81.926407] xhci_pci: Unknown symbol platform_device_put (err 0)
[ 81.926423] xhci_pci: Unknown symbol platform_device_add_data (err 0)
[ 81.926430] xhci_pci: Unknown symbol platform_device_add_resources (err 0)
[ 81.926437] xhci_pci: Unknown symbol platform_device_unregister (err 0)
[ 81.926447] xhci_pci: Unknown symbol usb_hcd_pci_pm_ops (err 0)
[ 81.926454] xhci_pci: Unknown symbol platform_device_add (err 0)
[ 81.926461] xhci_pci: Unknown symbol platform_device_alloc (err 0)
[ 81.926467] xhci_pci: Unknown symbol usb_hcd_pci_shutdown (err 0)

Any ideas?
