still having problems with my USB 3.0 to esata connection to a bunch of drives my board is Zotac itx H67 with the latest AMI bios that passes XHCI. Passing of EHCI is disabled. I am connecting an Addonics USB 3.0 to eSata connection to a SanDisk raid tower (not configured in Raid mode). All four drives show up fine when connected directly to the esata port and they show up via the Addonics via USB 3.0 under windows, but not in linux. I am running the 2.6.38 kernel. here is my syslog … any help, suggestions, etc. would sure be appreciated Jun 23 07:51:12 xbmcS64 kernel: [ 147.382509] xhci_hcd 0000:05:00.0: xHCI xhci_drop_endpoint called with disabled ep ffff88022bbb9f00 Jun 23 07:51:12 xbmcS64 kernel: [ 147.382513] xhci_hcd 0000:05:00.0: xHCI xhci_drop_endpoint called with disabled ep ffff88022bbb9f40 Jun 23 07:51:12 xbmcS64 kernel: [ 147.384008] xhci_hcd 0000:05:00.0: WARN: Stalled endpoint Jun 23 07:51:12 xbmcS64 kernel: [ 147.384432] sd 7:0:0:2: [sde] Incomplete mode parameter data Jun 23 07:51:12 xbmcS64 kernel: [ 147.384437] sd 7:0:0:2: [sde] Assuming drive cache: write through Jun 23 07:51:12 xbmcS64 kernel: [ 147.384865] xhci_hcd 0000:05:00.0: WARN: Stalled endpoint Jun 23 07:51:12 xbmcS64 kernel: [ 147.385338] sd 7:0:0:4: [sdg] Incomplete mode parameter data Jun 23 07:51:12 xbmcS64 kernel: [ 147.385343] sd 7:0:0:4: [sdg] Assuming drive cache: write through Jun 23 07:51:12 xbmcS64 kernel: [ 147.385659] xhci_hcd 0000:05:00.0: WARN: Stalled endpoint Jun 23 07:51:12 xbmcS64 kernel: [ 147.387185] xhci_hcd 0000:05:00.0: WARN: Stalled endpoint Jun 23 07:51:12 xbmcS64 kernel: [ 147.388056] xhci_hcd 0000:05:00.0: WARN: Stalled endpoint Jun 23 07:51:12 xbmcS64 kernel: [ 147.388668] sd 7:0:0:4: [sdg] Very big device.
