you have to ask for help to whoever gave you this old kernel. Since the
stock v2.6.31 kernel we already had 75000+ changesets to the mainline
kernel.

Here we will always be helping and debugging the 'git' version of the
kernel, which means, you'd have to check with current kernels for this
problems to be interesting to the kernel community. Sorry, but this is
not the place to ask for help for older kernels :-(
