RE: driver support for Huawei MU509

In drivers/usb/serial/option.c 

I see alot of HUAWEI_PRODUCT_xxxx 
but none for the MU509?
Am I missing something?

I do believe they have Linux support for this chip, I just don't know
how to tell that the support is in the kernel...??
Could you tell me how to figure out if the support is there?

So, you don't trust them when they say it has Linux support?  Why not?
Huawei sends in patches for their devices all the time.
