With this patch, when running 'lsusb -v' as a local user, I get the
following:
	$ ./lsusb -v

	Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
	libusb couldn't open USB device /dev/bus/usb/001/001: Permission denied.
	libusb requires write access to USB device nodes.
	Couldn't open device, some information will be missing
	Segmentation fault

but it works as root.

Any ideas?

I'll hold off on applying this one for the moment.

thanks,
