There should be two things involved in Software:

 - (1) UDC-specific logic to kick in the hardware
test mode mechanisms, based on control requests
made using libusb

Some generic user mode driver that makes such
requests, using libusb, to any UDC (or HCD) that
has test mode support.

The driver would work best in conjunction with a
hardware test harness that probably includes an
oscilloscope and similar tools to examine the
signals generated, verifying integrity etc.
