I can see two patches on this one:

  - make otg_transceiver remember the last event (and data)
  - introduce a new API: otg_notify_event()

I guess you meant this:
      - 1/2 switch to atomic
      - 2/2 otg_notify_event with last event and data remembered.

Otherwise I cannot see how to remember the last events since they are given in otg_notify_event.
I m just thinking of it because of the bisecting.

the order doesn't matter, but it's two different patches. Can you split?
