Well, on a hunch, I thought I'd try hard coding can_stall = 0. With this change, the driver works great?! Not sure why setting stall from insmod didn't work. Btw, is it possible to have the gadget driver present a hard drive and a CDROM drive at the same time? Attached is the output from another failed session. This time I ran: insmod g_file_storage.ko file=usb_backing_file stall=n Rob -----Original Message----- From: Alan Stern [mailto:stern@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, September 07, 2010 9:21 PM To: Murphy, Robert Cc: Gadiyar, Anand; Greg KH; linux-usb@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: Windows fails to install FBSG based drive On Tue, 7 Sep 2010, Murphy, Robert wrote: > I was finally able to get a chance to run usbmon from a Linux host. It looks like you need to load g_file_storage with the "stall=n" module parameter.
