Hi, Is it possible for me to somehow accurately measure the response time for a USB device (any USB device) in Linux? Sort of like "pinging" it. I want to do some tests on the USB/IP project, I want to measure the latency of a USB device, then measure it again while the connection is tunnelled over a network. My first plan was to program an embedded device that gives a simple response over USB but I'm hoping someone with knowledge of the Linux USB stack might be able to suggest something simpler.
