Intel EHCI HCD 8086:27cc quirk?

Has anyone else noticed occasional apparent misbehavior on the parts
of some Intel ICH7 hubs (specifically those identifying themselves as
8086:27cc)? This particular device appears to drop interrupts every so
often. Is this a known issue? I'm thinking about this especially in
the context of 403dbd36739e344d2d25f56ebbe342248487bd48, which appears
to disable the IO watchdog for this device (and many others) and trust
the hub to deliver interrupts properly.
