Yes, bugs should get fixed.

I've lost track of naming, but I'd like to see
a clear distinction between things ... maybe:


 u_serial for the char-at-a-time model
 u_packet for packet-at-a-time model ... vs
    using packet-oriented line disciplines.

 g_mtp specifically for Media Transfer Protocol,.
the initial user of u_packet.
