I don't believe we can do it in the kernel: we have no information
about the screen's size.
mind you, all evdev does is to invert within the advertised axis
range,
and that the kernel should be able to do.
evdev doesn't know the screen size either.
Oops, you're right: we have the min/max range, I forgot about it. So,
I guess Chris's question applies to input in general, not
specifically to HID or multitouch devices. Therefore, I pass :-)
