FYI This patch fixes the timeout error: <http://synce.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/synce/trunk/patches/usb-rndis-lite-samsung.patch?revision=3010> and the device is now detected and works. I guess this USB device needs the rndis_host driver to wait for something on the interrupt/status endpoint before continuing.
