usbaudio autosuspend status

Hello there,

I'd like to know what is the status of the suspend support in usbaudio.  I'm using this driver but it doesn't seem to auto suspend. uvcvideo is now working fine:
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11948

Hardware: Bus 001 Device 003: ID 046d:08c6 Logitech, Inc. QuickCam for DELL Notebooks

But the microphone device does not suspend and I have to suspend it manually for it to save power (about 1 watt):
echo suspend > /sys/bus/usb/devices/1-5/power/level

This command used to work for me but now that I am testing the latest Fedora Rawhide (fc13) it is throwing the following error:
-bash: echo: write error: Invalid argument

Why is this? Would it be a good idea to report this problem in kernel bugzilla? if so, under which component/module?? how can I test if userspace is keeping the device open (maybe pulseaudio)?

It would be great if the device just suspend automatically out of the box when not in use.

This is my lspci output just in case:
