Sorry for the delay. Went out of town... And then I had to find the
development environment that the engineers were using... in January... last
year...
We were using: libusb-0.1.so.4.
The vstusb driver was only being used by one known application: LoggerLite
(from Vernier Software & Technology). LoggerLite is the Linux version of
their LoggerPro software tool for Windows and MAC. The vstusb driver
supported Vernier's devices, LabPro and Labquest, and OceanOptics
Spectrometers.
OceanOptics, http://www.oceanoptics.com, is creating their own drivers for
their Spectrometers.
The Vernier LoggerLite application, http://www.vernier.com/linux/, uses
libusb directly to support the LabPro and Labquest usb devices.

Do you have a pointer to the libusb version somewhere that I can put in
the changelog for people who might be looking for it?
