This has nothing to do with USB especially.  It's a bad interaction
among the network layer, sysfs, and system power management.  (The
pm_mutex you see isn't the one that used to be defined by USB; it is
defined in kernel/power/main.c.)

You should bring this to the attention of Rafael Wysocki and Tejun Heo,
and post it on linux-pm and netdev.
