Modifying USB keyboard polling time?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,
I was wondering if there was an equivalent
of /sys/module/usbhid/parameters/mousepoll for USB keyboards? I have a
Das Keyboard, and it looks like its interval is 24ms.. Can this even be
set in software or is it burned onto the keyboard's controller (or a
mandatory usbhid spec)? Thing is, when I type 2 keys (like 'f' and 'd')
together very rapidly, they always come out 'left to right' as that's
how this keyboard scans. From what I've googled, this is common to all
USB keyboards and _not_ to PS/2, but I prefer having USB so I can hang
my mouse off it. Also, I don't think this keyboard (Das Keyboard) will
work with a PS/2 dongle, though I have yet to try.

TIA!
= Matt
