Oh, good, I'm not the only one.  Sometimes the managers of the chipset
guys send me odd questions, and they get garbled along the way up.  I'll
try to pass your answer on and get a better idea of what they're asking.
Perhaps I can convince them to discuss this on the mailing list instead.
