Hi, all,

Xilinx open source Linux git server at:
http://git.xilinx.com/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?p=linux-2.6-xlnx.git;a=summary
has the Linux 2.6.31 kernel with MicroBlaze processor support. Actually,
MicroBlaze support is in the mainline Linux now. There are some
documents about MicroBlaze Linux at
http://xilinx.wikidot.com/microblaze-linux.

And, you probably should try USB host with MicroBlaze using the Xilinx
USB host core (in FPGA). It is a pay core, but you can evaluate it for
free. The wiki page for the USB host Linux bus glue driver is at:
http://xilinx.wikidot.com/usb-host-controller-driver

The driver is in Xilinx's open source Linux, at the previous pointer at
the Xilinx git server. It is on its way going into mainline.

I heard that people who have tried the Xilinx USB host core are happy
with it. It has been thoroughly tested with many USB devices, thanks to
the tremendous help from this mailing list and powerful Linux USB stack.

Thanks,
Julie.
