Hi Bart,

If you have the time, please go ahead with your patch set, however if
you are too busy,
I'm happy to help out getting your work merged, or pick up where you leave off.

I have a SIM card reader based on the ark3116 chipset to test with,
but it does not expose
the modem control lines for validation.
