Hello all, I am using a MUSB controller on TI Omap3 processor. I am transferring a series of small files back and forth between my computer and the mass storage device. After a set of repeated transfers, the mass storage device loses contact with the computer, the transfer is stalled, and my device is completely frozen. I took the dmesg output from my linux box, and this is what I observe. Would appreciate any help on this regard, Thanks, Praveen sd 147:0:0:0: [sdb] Attached SCSI removable disk sd 147:0:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg3 type 0 sd 147:0:0:1: [sdc] Attached SCSI removable disk sd 147:0:0:1: Attached scsi generic sg4 type 0 sd 147:0:0:0: [sdb] 6925439 512-byte hardware sectors (3546 MB) sd 147:0:0:1: [sdc] 7959489 512-byte hardware sectors (4075 MB) sd 147:0:0:0: [sdb] Write Protect is off sd 147:0:0:0: [sdb] Mode Sense: 0f 00 00 00 sd 147:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through sd 147:0:0:1: [sdc] Write Protect is off sd 147:0:0:1: [sdc] Mode Sense: 0f 00 00 00 sd 147:0:0:1: [sdc] Assuming drive cache: write through sd 147:0:0:0: [sdb] 6925439 512-byte hardware sectors (3546 MB) sd 147:0:0:1: [sdc] 7959489 512-byte hardware sectors (4075 MB) sd 147:0:0:0: [sdb] Write Protect is off sd 147:0:0:0: [sdb] Mode Sense: 0f 00 00 00 sd 147:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through sdb:<5>sd 147:0:0:1: [sdc] Write Protect is off sd 147:0:0:1: [sdc] Mode Sense: 0f 00 00 00 sd 147:0:0:1: [sdc] Assuming drive cache: write through sdc: usb 1-3: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 45 usb 1-3: device descriptor read/64, error -110 usb 1-3: device descriptor read/64, error -110 usb 1-3: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 45 usb 1-3: device descriptor read/64, error -110 usb 1-3: device descriptor read/64, error -110 usb 1-3: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 45 usb 1-3: device not accepting address 45, error -110 usb 1-3: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 45 usb 1-3: device not accepting address 45, error -110 sd 147:0:0:0: Device offlined - not ready after error recovery sd 147:0:0:0: [sdb] Result: hostbyte=DID_ABORT driverbyte=DRIVER_OK,SUGGEST_OK end_request: I/O error, dev sdb, sector 4889504 sd 147:0:0:0: rejecting I/O to offline device sd 147:0:0:0: rejecting I/O to offline device sd 147:0:0:0: rejecting I/O to offline device sd 147:0:0:0: rejecting I/O to offline device sd 147:0:0:0: rejecting I/O to offline device sd 147:0:0:0: rejecting I/O to offline device sd 147:0:0:0: rejecting I/O to offline device sd 147:0:0:0: rejecting I/O to offline device sd 147:0:0:0: rejecting I/O to offline device Buffer I/O error on device sdb, logical block 5595 lost page write due to I/O error on sdb FAT: unable to read inode block for updating (i_pos 92908572) FAT: FAT read failed (blocknr 5951) FAT: FAT read failed (blocknr 5919) sd 145:0:0:1: [sdc] READ CAPACITY failed sd 145:0:0:1: [sdc] Result: hostbyte=DID_NO_CONNECT driverbyte=DRIVER_OK,SUGGEST_OK sd 145:0:0:1: [sdc] Sense not available. sd 145:0:0:1: [sdc] Write Protect is off sd 145:0:0:1: [sdc] Mode Sense: 00 00 00 00 sd 145:0:0:1: [sdc] Assuming drive cache: write through sd 145:0:0:1: [sdc] READ CAPACITY failed sd 145:0:0:1: [sdc] Result: hostbyte=DID_NO_CONNECT driverbyte=DRIVER_OK,SUGGEST_OK sd 145:0:0:1: [sdc] Sense not available. sd 145:0:0:1: [sdc] Write Protect is off __ratelimit: 367 callbacks suppressed npviewer.bin[25712]: segfault at b70be030 ip 00ae9a00 sp bfae18f4 error 4 in lib -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-usb" in the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
