Hi Greg

That patch is partly correct, but not 100%. In fact we are in the process of submitting our final series of patches to the serial driver and we are waiting for some approvals even as I write this. So I would request that you retract your patch and obtain our driver from the site below for the time being. Here are some additional details...

Your patch will work, but not completely. It requires additional logic to blacklist some of the interfaces exposed by the USB descriptor. If you go to our knowledgebase page you will find the latest driver available there; when all of our outstanding patches are approved, the kernel version will be the same as the one on our website. We also have a separate driver which you will need if you want to be able to use the modem like an ethernet device. That is available by request to
