Hi Moritz

I think it would be better to add a 

extern struct phy_device *fixed_phy_register_gpiod(unsigned int irq,
     					     struct fixed_phy_status *status,
					     struct gpio_desc *gpiod);

If you are not using DT, the np is pointless. So lets keep the API
simple.
