That tells us practically nothing. If you press any button nothing
happens? Anything in dmesg?

There is nothing on dmesg. I used dmesg -wH to view output as/when anything was occuring and nothing did. Once I use a DPI switch the cursor stops moving and appears unresponsive to pressing any of the buttons. The only thing I can do is unplug and replug it in, which you will see in the output.
