In the trace Paul sent me libusb eventually timed out and issued
23:09:34.752900 ioctl(3, USBDEVFS_DISCARDURB, 0xbfae5884) = 0

Paul has solved his problems, with the help of a 100ms delay
after clear-halt. However, when Chris (maintainer of btool)
tried to reproduce the issue, something confusing happens, and
as I understand it Paul is just trying to help here. Until we
know what's up with Chris' hardware, he's not going to apply
post-halt-clear delay.
