Periodic reconnects of USB mouse on Dell PowerEdge R730

Dear Linux folks,


On the server Dell PowerEdge R730 with firmware 2.3.4, and Linux 4.9.2, the connected USB mouse disconnects and connects again periodically. This can be reproduced with two different (Logitech) mice.
