I watched this issue and concluded that the host controller was disabled due to excess of a certain limit mistakes that we have seen in the logs. Now I want to talk about errors, they reason origin is not clear (if it happens then occurs after a warm reboot). But I definitely found which USB device is culprit and reconnection stop the occurrence of new errors, and the device appeared in the Nautilus. This is evident by the freezed mouse pointer and interrupting crunch of the hard drive. And also you can see in logs strange messages about "r8169 0000:02:00.0 enp2s0: link up", but at this time I am sure that no network problem occured. I do not know how much this information will be useful. -- Best Regards, Mike Gavrilov. -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-usb" in the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
