It wouldn't be a case of "revive"; that particular semantic
wasn't ISTR implemented by any HCD.  (Not that there was
even a portable semantic associated with it, anyway!)  That
was used to retrigger periodic transfers.

However -- agreed that support for the USB 3 "bursting"
mechanism could leverage some sort of multiple-buffer I/O
primitive.
