For an integration we are doing here I have needed to add the
following device to use the usbserial driver. It is a Novatel OEM GPS
receiver card that has on-board USB-serial capability and it works
well with the default usbserial driver. The dmesg output mentioned I
should forward the particulars of this device to this email address.
I have also included the pertinent lsusb and dmesg output.

Vendor: 0x09d7
Product: 0x0100

lsusb output:
Bus 002 Device 007: ID 09d7:0100 Novatel Wireless NovAtel FlexPack GPS receiver

dmesg output:
[1190863.011363] usbserial: USB Serial support registered for generic
[1190863.011383] usbserial_generic 2-1.8:1.0: The "generic" usb-serial
driver is only for testing and one-off prototypes.
[1190863.011386] usbserial_generic 2-1.8:1.0: Tell
