the problem still exists in 4.7-rc3, and it appears that the chances of
a protection fault occurring at rmmod have increased since this was
first reported in December.

The original patch still applies to 4.7-rc3 (with some offset) and fixes
the symptom of out-of-bounds access; please consider reviewing it.
