There is still some sort of problem related in someway to btusb (i.e., I don't
have any problem if I don't load the driver). What I now get, however, is

[ 522.812488] ACPI: EC: missing confirmations, switch off interrupt mode.
[ 523.316572] ACPI Exception (evregion-0420): AE_TIME, Returned by Handler
for [EmbeddedControl] [20080321]
[ 523.316603] ACPI Error (psparse-0530): Method parse/execution failed
[\_TZ_.TZ5_._TMP] (Node ffff81007fb72370), AE_TIME

Googling this one made me thinking it might also be somehow related to some
ACPI stuff that got broken and may now be fixed in 2.6.28, so I've been
waiting to give 2.6.28 a try before following up with the mailing lists.

(come on Debian -- Ubuntu had 2.6.28 packaged like the day after X-mas!)

Cheers! -Tyson
