I have already running the SPI->USB stuff on a DS80C411  (Network  8051)
and DS89C450 (Ultra High-Speed 8051) and now I am trying to get it
running under Linux...

But for this I have some problems...

The MAX3421E is an OHCI type and now I was looking into the drivers/spi/
and drivers/usb/host/ directories (and its documentation) but since this
is a SPI->USB bridge, I do not know where to start.

In the 8051 I have a compact infrastructure, but I assume, this is not
acceptable for Linux.

As I have seen already from other modules, I have to glue some parts
togehter but I have no clue which and how.

(I am usualy developing "normal" applications and not Kernel stuff)

Any Hints/Tips welcome.
