Arch linux x64, fully up to date as of 2016-01-09. Writing and reading to the stick will eventually lead to a "usb 2-2: reset SuperSpeed USB device number 2 using xhci_hcd" message, after which the whole PC seems to freeze for a few seconds, resuming operation afterwards. The USB drive is still listed in lsusb, but attempting to access the mount point results in a "endpoint not connected" message. Sometimes it manages to access it again, though, but the fs is not writeable anymore and any read access is painfully slow. Re-attaching the USB stick makes it work again for a while. It doesn't matter which fs I am using on the stick and I also wasn't able to trigger any misbehavior on windows, so it seems like something on kernel's end to me.
