Thanks for the v2. Try using git-send-email to send the patch. Send it to yourself first to make sure you get it right. Run scripts/checkpatch.pl on the patch after you sent it to make sure it hasn't been whitespace damaged (the resent patch uses spaces instead of tabs for indentation). You should also put any messages (like the one above) below the cut-off line (---) of the patch itself.
