There should be no need to use usb_modeswitch: attached you can find LE920
0x1201 PID default composition.

USB serial ports support in option is present since official kernel
version 3.18.

QMI network adapter support in qmi_wwan is present since official kernel
version 3.13.

Please note: it is useful to contact the modem vendor for this kind of issues
especially if you use old kernel versions such as 3.0.35.
