Thank you for pointing that out. Can you tell how to actually do it?

I followed the instruction in Documentation/usb/gadget_serial.txt.
It says:

"You must explicitly load the usbserial driver with parameters to
configure it to recognize the gadget serial device, like this:

  modprobe usbserial vendor=0x0525 product=0xA4A6".
