Hi community,
As Windows support UAC1 only, I'd presume that anyone who is serious
about UAC will consider Windows Host support.
A few months back, I got UAC1 working for Windows 7/8 Host on my
Wandboard (Freescale i.MX6 based), on kernel 3.10.17.
I quickly checked the latest Linux kernel, and I'd doubt that anybody
submitted patches for UAC1 for Windows 7/8 yet.
Mr Rafael Brune asked me for the patch and I sent to him, and it was
confirmed that the patch worked at his side although I am not sure what
kernel version he is working.
I understand this mailing list only accepts patches against the latest
Linux kernel.
The patch itself is straightforward as long as one has good
understanding of UAC1 specification. Is it possible that I post my patch
here, and somebody has the latest kernel working on his/her hardware can
submit a formal patch? Thanks.
